Joe Ruhl acquired his bachelors and masters levels at Purdue College and he has been sharing the thrill of biology with youngsters for 37 years. He presently teaches Biology, Genetics, and Science Analysis programs at Jefferson Excessive College in Lafayette, Indiana. Joe and his spouse Gail have two kids and two grandchildren. The Nationwide Affiliation of Biology Lecturers named Joe Ruhl the Excellent Biology Trainer of Indiana in 1987. In 1988 he was awarded a Golden Apple Educating Award by the Lafayette, Indiana Chamber of Commerce. In 1989 he was honored on the White Home as Indiana’s recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Educating. In 1996 he acquired the Purdue College School of Science Distinguished Alumnus Award for Excellence in Ok-12 Science Educating. In 2004 he was awarded the Purdue School of Training’s Crystal Apple Educating Award. And in 2012 he was honored with the Shell Nationwide Science Educating Award.
