Ball State College’s Teachers College has
been awarded a $2.6 million grant from the U.S. Division of Training (DOE)
to develop and implement an inclusive strategy to figuring out and supporting
gifted college students with disabilities.
 

The five-year award is a part of the Workplace of Elementary
& Secondary Training’s
Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education
Program
. Since 1988, the federal initiative has funded initiatives

State’s Academics Faculty will accomplice with groups from the College of
Florida, led by co-principal investigator Dr. Kathrin Maki, assistant professor
of College Psychology, and the College of San Diego, led by co-principal
investigator Dr. Lisa Ridgley, affiliate director of analysis. The group will

studying wants and disabilities who could also be gifted.

• Objective 4: Construct
capability amongst college personnel to establish/serve gifted college students with
disabilities.

undergraduate college students to function information collectors, main leaders, and
instructors of the Sensible Storytellers curriculum.
