(Reuters) – Iran’s Revolutionary Guards mentioned on Friday that its intelligence unit had foiled a bomb assault within the southern metropolis of Shiraz, two days after a lethal capturing at a shrine there, the guards’ information company Sepah Information mentioned.
“A bombing in Mo’ali Abad (neighbourhood) in Shiraz was detected and foiled by the Revolutionary Guards intelligence,” Sepah information mentioned.
Wednesday’s capturing, which was claimed by Islamic State, killed 15 worshippers.
