GUATEMALA CITY (Reuters) – Guatemala’s migration institute on Tuesday introduced it could require visas for guests from the Dominican Republic as of subsequent month, citing elevated numbers of Dominicans arriving in Guatemala en path to america.
“There’s proof of a rise in folks getting into and shifting via (Guatemala) in an effort to attain america irregularly,” migration institute spokeswoman Alejandra Mena mentioned.
The class C visa will grant Dominicans 90 days in Guatemala.
