What causes Blackheads?
Blackheads are a gentle type of pimples which often type on our face.
Now, there are pores on the floor of our pores and skin. They’re mainly a gap for the hair follicles.
A hair follicle consists of a hair and an oil or sebaceous gland.
This gland mainly helps preserve our pores and skin lubricated and prevents drying.
Generally the pores of our pores and skin change into plugged with lifeless pores and skin cells and with oil from the sebaceous gland.
They produce a bump which known as a comedo. Now, if the pores and skin over the bump stays closed then the bump known as a whitehead.
But when the pores and skin over the bump opens, the lifeless pores and skin cells within the open pore react with the oxygen within the air and switch black. Thus forming a blackhead.
