MEMPHIS – Tyre Nichols protesters blocked visitors on a Memphis freeway Friday evening after video was launched displaying police beating the younger Black man as they tried to arrest him.
“Arise, battle again,” the protesters chanted on the I-55 bridge, video captured by Fox Information exhibits.

Protesters gathered and marched after an hour of video footage was launched displaying police beat Nichols. The 29-year-old was hospitalized after the encounter, however died three days later.
“We shuttin’ it down,” one protester will be heard shouting.
“By any means needed,” one other mentioned.
Memphis officers pulled Nichols from his car in the course of the street and tried to detain him, the video exhibits. After a battle, he ultimately escaped on foot, however officers encountered him once more in a residential neighborhood.
