LISBON — Dr. Max VanBuren, 73, of Lisbon died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022. He was born June 3, 1949, in Tiffin, the son of Ralph and Leona Huston VanBuren.
After graduating from The Ohio State College and its Faculty of Veterinary Medication, Dr. VanBuren served within the U.S. Military because the Put up Veterinarian on the Presidio of San Francisco. He then returned to Ohio to a blended follow in West Salem. In 1981 he moved to Columbiana County and based Ohio Embryo Switch Inc. Dr. VanBuren was a pioneering practitioner in embryo switch in cattle and marketed frozen embryos all through the world. As well as, he developed a herd of Holstein cattle, Burencrest Holsteins. In 1992 he based Fairfield Animal Hospital in Columbiana the place he practiced till his retirement in 2018.
