FBI agent who retired amid Hunter Biden probe scrutiny denies political bias

Authorized counsel for an FBI agent ,who retired final week following allegations that he tried to run interference into the Hunter Biden laptop computer probe, are denying stories that he was politically motivated. 

Assistant Particular Agent in Cost Tim Thibault was named by Senate Judiciary rating member Chuck Grassley in a July 18 letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Lawyer Normal Merrick Garland. The agency reiterated that Thibault was not concerned in both the planning or execution of the FBI raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Florida earlier this month.
