The transfer creates the biggest devoted professional bono apply in Eire. Eithne Lynch, now head of professional bono, joined the agency in 2018 as the primary full-time professional bono affiliate at any Irish legislation agency.
The professional bono workforce now features a devoted trainee rotation and annual legislation and human rights scholar placement from the College of Galway.
In 2021, ALG offered over 12,000 hours of free authorized recommendation by means of its professional bono apply in areas akin to human rights, housing and asylum legislation.
