MAYVILLE — Christine Schuyler is leaving the Chautauqua County Well being and Human Providers Division.

County Govt PJ Wendel made the announcement Monday morning. Schuyler’s last day shall be Nov. 29.

“Christine’s present time period expires the tip of this month and I’ve made the choice to not re-appoint her to a different five-year time period, and transfer in a special course with the construction of the county’s supply of human companies,” Wendel stated. “I respect Christine’s service and dedication to the residents of Chautauqua County throughout her 14-year tenure with the County and I want her all the perfect together with her future endeavors.”

Schuyler first started her profession with Chautauqua County in July 2008 when she was appointed as public well being director for the Chautauqua County Division of Public Well being. She then took on the twin position of commissioner of Social Providers in June 2011 because the Division of Public Well being and Division of Social Providers started its merger into the Division of Well being and Human Providers. In November 2012, she was then appointed because the director of the Chautauqua County Division of Well being and Human Providers.

Schuyler is credited with enhancing the well being and human service supply and supporting training and consciousness efforts to enhance the well being and security of Chautauqua County residents.
