Gov. Jim Justice introduced two new members of the state college board to switch the previous chairman and vice chairman.
Victor Gabriel and Chris Stansbury would be the latest members of the West Virginia State Board of Training.
“Each of those males are extraordinarily certified to fill these roles,” Justice said in an announcement. “I do know their hearts are in the suitable place, and I do know they care about our children and ensuring we proceed to offer the perfect setting for achievement.”
Gabriel will fill the seat vacated by Tom Campbell, the previous vice chairman who resigned a number of weeks in the past. Gabriel will full Campbell’s time period, which is about to run out in November 2030.
Gabriel, a Bridgeport resident, taught college in Harrison County for 11 years and was transferred to the central workplace in 1983.
