South Florida PBS nailed it, selecting longtime Palm Beacher Tom Fast because the recipient of its 2022 Star of Schooling Award. Fast was honored on the seventh annual Stars of Education dinner, which happened Dec. 5 at Membership Colette.
Michele Kessler was chairwoman for the night, which started within the courtyard with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and many chat about vacation plans.
After cocktails, company moved to the eating room for dinner and the presentation of the Star of Schooling Award, which is given to a ”distinguished particular person or household who has made an indelible and lasting influence on schooling in the neighborhood, particularly for the underserved.”
“Tom is at all times beneficiant and caring along with his time and presents,” Kessler stated in her remarks. “It could be unimaginable to find out the various lives he has enriched. The 2022 Star of Schooling Award really embodies Tom’s honest dedication to bettering our world and particularly round schooling.”
The night continued with dessert and dancing.
