Undergraduate college students Meghan Malone ’24 and Sam Martin ’24 offered their course-embedded analysis undertaking on place-based studying on the Library of Congress Sources Convention in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Malone and Martin are instructor candidates majoring in elementary training within the Dr. Jo Watts Williams College of Schooling. They developed this undertaking within the Elementary Social Research Strategies course, with their school mentor, Lisa Buchanan, affiliate professor of training.

Along with group members Ally Shibata ’24 and Eliza Witt ’24, they developed a complete place-based studying undertaking targeted on the Worldwide Civil Rights Heart and Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
