Feb 1 (Reuters) – Dentons has employed former Republican U.S. Rep. Jeff Denham to affix its lobbying follow, the mega-law agency mentioned Wednesday.
Denham, who misplaced re-election to his California U.S. Home seat in 2018, has been a lobbyist with rival agency Ok&L Gates since 2019. Whereas in workplace, Denham was an ally of Home of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a fellow California Republican.
Denham will probably be a senior coverage director at Dentons. He’ll work alongside fellow former Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley, who joined Dentons final 12 months after a stint with competitor Squire Patton Boggs.
“Jeff involves Dentons with a deep understanding of policymaking, in depth relationships on the Hill, and a powerful background in delivering for shoppers,” Crowley mentioned in a press release.
