WHEELING — Simply in time for the vacation season, Oglebay Institute’s Towngate Theatre in Wheeling presents a vacation play to carry out the Christmas spirit in all ages.
Filled with comedy, intelligent twists and the heat of the vacation season, “The One and Solely Santa Claus” units the story of Santa Claus towards the backdrop of a modern-day actuality TV present. Hosts Yul Tide and Crystal Flake discover what Santa Claus actually represents, introducing us to varied individuals who know and love him. Because the TV crew tries to trace down the elusive St. Nick, we meet many uncommon characters, elves and different vacation characters alongside the way in which.
This family-friendly present can be staged at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 and three p.m. Dec. 10 and 11.
Oglebay Institute director of performing arts Tim Thompson and Karissa Martin direct a proficient forged of grownup and youngster actors.
