New York seeks to expand legal services for new immigrants

New York state officers are providing new authorized providers to immigrants who arrived in New York Metropolis over the past 12 months, with $3 million deliberate for the following three years for the New York State Workplace for New People.

Gov. Kathy Hochul’s workplace on Wednesday introduced the funding amid the continuing arrival of migrants and asylum seekers in New York Metropolis, a lot of whom face ongoing immigration and authorized standing questions.
