As the clock ticks down on his tenure, Charlie Baker flexes his political muscle

It’s been a busy stretch for Gov. Charlie Baker.

Within the span of only a few days, he provided jobs again to dozens of state staff who beforehand misplaced their jobs over vaccine mandates; aggressively defended his administration’s response to the humanitarian disaster at Mass. and Cass after Boston Mayor Michelle Wu questioned the state’s dedication; and talked up the reelection campaign of Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, who Baker is backing regardless of what looks as if a profound political disconnect. Amongst different issues.
